What are the signs of a broken sewer line?
Repeated backups, several slow drains at once, gurgling toilets, sewage smells in the basement and soggy spots in the yard can all point to a sewer line problem. A camera inspection confirms it.
Who owns the sewer line?
In most GTA municipalities, the homeowner owns the lateral from the house to the property line, and the municipality owns the section from the property line to the main sewer. Ownership rules vary, so we confirm them for your address.
Is trenchless sewer repair always possible?
Not always. It depends on the pipe's condition, material and slope. When the camera shows a collapsed or sagging section, a targeted excavation may be the better choice.
Can tree roots be removed for good?
Cleaning clears roots for a time, but they grow back through cracks and joints. Lining or replacing the damaged section is the long-term fix.
