Water Lines services we offer
Many older GTA homes still rely on the water line they were built with. That can mean lead, galvanized steel or a narrow copper pipe that was never meant to supply two bathrooms, a laundry room and a garden suite.
We offer complete water line services, from finding a leak to replacing the whole line from the property line to the meter. Our own trenchless equipment lets us pull a new line underground between two small pits, so your driveway, lawn and trees stay where they are.

Lead and galvanized pipe
Lead lines are most common in homes built before the mid-1950s. We replace your private side and give you the invoice the City's lead program asks for.
Pressure and capacity
Adding a bathroom, a garden suite or more units often needs a larger service. We size the new line for how you use water now and later.
Leaks and breaks
A wet patch on the lawn or a rising water bill can point to a leak underground. We locate it and repair only what needs repair.

How do I know if my water line is lead?
Look at the pipe where it enters the house, near the water meter. Lead pipe is dull grey, soft and shows a shiny silver colour when scratched gently with a key. It does not attract a magnet. If you are unsure, we can check it during a visit.
Who is responsible for the water line?
In Toronto, the City owns the section from the watermain to the property line, and the homeowner owns the section from the property line into the home. Other municipalities follow a similar split.
Do you need to dig up my driveway?
In most cases, no. Trenchless replacement uses two small pits, one near the property line and one near the house, and pulls the new line between them.
Can I get a bigger water line for a garden suite or multiplex?
Yes. We size and install upgraded services for garden suites, laneway homes and multiplex conversions, and coordinate the connection with the municipality.
